Lions Clubs International District 133 is launching a Homeless Appeal and is seeking the generous support of Club Members and of the public.

Newcastle Lions Beth Cairnduff was pleased to support a donation of £500.00 for the Lions homeless appeal.. The donation was made possible by the generosity of local people who donated to the Lions at Christmas.

DG Marian presented the cheque to Paddy Cahill who is the Lions District officer for the homeless project. Paddy partners with other relevant agencies to support the work in helping homeless people. The support links with the Belfast based Welcome Centre for homeless. This includes people from South Down who use the centre.
